TRANQUILLI-T

Buying or selling a property is without a doubt one of the most important transactions someone will conduct in their lifetime. RE/MAX du Cartier s well aware of this, and that’s why our brokers will work in your best interest to make your dreams come true.

That’s also why we offer you peace of mind with the exclusive protection of the Tranquili-T program!

DELAY & WITHDRAWAL

Whether you’re buying or selling a property, unforeseen situations may occur, such as:

  • Mortgage financing withdrawal
  • Job loss
  • Separation
  • Fire
  • Surveying problem

Such issues may delay or even put an end to the sales process. With the RE/MAX Tranquilli-T program, if a delay or withdrawal should occur after the binding promise to purchase is finalized, the additional, unforeseen yet reasonable expenses incurred, subject to a $300 deductible, are covered for a period of up to 180 days from the scheduled date of closing or up to a maximum policy limit, whichever comes first.

DEATH

In the event of the death of the buyer and/or his/her partner, the seller’s transaction will be protected if the buyer’s estate no longer wishes to buy the house, provided the seller has a RE/MAX Tranquilli-T policy. The RE/MAX Tranquilli-T program will take responsibility for the buyer’s undertakings and the seller will still be paid the agreed sale price stated in the finalized and binding promise to purchase.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE PHONE SERVICES

Whether you’re buying or selling a property, the RE/MAX Tranquilli-T program will provide you with free legal assistance phone services for legal problems related to the property or the real estate transaction. Coverage is effective from the day the binding promise to purchase becomes final and lasts for a period of twelve months from the date of closing.

Should you have any questions or concerns, such as a neighbourhood disturbance issue or a hidden defect, you will have access to legal assistance phone services provided by a member of the Barreau du Québec who specializes in real estate transactions.

SMALL CLAIMS

Whether you’re buying or selling a property, the RE/MAX Tranquilli-T program will provide you and/or your partner up to three (3) hours of Small Claims coaching service for litigation that falls under the scope of the Small Claims Division of the Court of Québec (Small Claims Court) in relation with the real estate transaction and subsequent occupation of the property.

The coverage will take effect when all the conditions of the offer to purchase are met and over the 12 months following the signing of the deed.

CONDITIONS

To benefit from this program, you must be represented by a participating RE/MAX broker.

The protection takes effect as soon as you are given your certificate of protection by your broker. This certificate will be issued when all conditions of the offer to purchase have been met, except for the signing of the deed of sale.

This protection is offered to you at no extra charge.

Changes may have been made to the written coverage of the program as indicated on the website and may not have yet been reflected on this site. The contents of this website do not constitute a contract.
